at LA IS PARADISE.
His ballpoint works depict the struggle and chaos in the clash of traditional and modern lives and are nothing short of arresting.

Scot Nery: Creator and Performer
International Performer Stage and Screen since age 11.
- Was declared the highlight of the HBO Comedy Festival in Las Vegas.
- Performed at the World Busker Festival Christchurch New Zealand.
- Produced, wrote and performed in Crash Course for a 6 month run. It was a live on stage cooking show.
- “Splendidly Surreal!” - Robin Williams
- “I saw Jerry Seinfeld eh, he was okay. Saw a little Chris Rock eh, he was cool. When everybody asks me what my highlight was, it was seein’ this guy!”— National Lampoon Radio
- “Freaks are a precious natural resource. They thrill us, mystify us, and cause us to shake our heads and ponder the meaning of life, just like, uh, giant rock formations. Anyone who says different probably hasn’t ever witnessed Scot Nery live onstage in any of his hysterically weird incarnations: pancake juggler, backpack escape artist, cooking show host, etc.” — San Francisco Weekly
- “More than just an amazing juggler or contortionist, Scot is an improvisational phenom. One can only imagine how hard he worked for it to come off with such ease.*Hilarious*” - Matt Kowal @ New Belgium
Comedian Scot Nery has traveled all over the world performing his strange collection of juggling & contortion tricks. He’s seen lots of cities and he’s chosen the best one for his home - Los Angeles
People that have never been here think it’s a town of celebrities, riots and drive-by shootings. That isn’t what citizens see every day and that stuff isn’t what Scot loves.
LA is Paradise has dancing girls, music, juggling tricks and Scot’s unusual perspective on the beauty and enrichment of America’s most hated town.
